I am fascinated in floral art. I really enjoy photographing them and then leave my imagination going wild, creating new and unique images. I thoroughly work on every image because I want to put my own personality into each artwork. Flowers have been always a real inspiration source for artists. We can go back in time to the elaborate Flemish flower paintings, and then thinking about the Impressionists paintings. The Impressionists approached nature in a very sensitive way, emphasizing the link between humans and nature. All those artists have been fascinated by the beauty of flowers and by the power they have on humans. Floral topic is on wave even today. When I think at contemporary art, the first artist I have in mind is Gary Hume. He paints flowers in a deeply personal style. The beauty of flowers has been exploited during Art Deco period too. The decorators of those times made a very beautiful statement using flowers. They introduced floral elements into interior design and all other usual objects. The living space started to be alive and full of good energy. Flower artworks are a very good method of both embellishing a space and creating a very positive atmosphere. I think the custom of offering flowers to someone is not something random. The people from all over the world do this when they want to share their love and admiration and even when they fell sorry. It is a very simple gesture but in the same time very powerful.
